INFO: I was born in Derby in 1981 and lived in Breaston since Birth.
After finishing Wilsthorpe school, Long Eaton at 16, I went straight into employment as an Engineer. Completing an NVQ modern apprentiship in tool making, CNC programming and general sheet metal fabrication.

Being a keen gardener since childhood, I was always first to help a friend or family member with anything that needed doing in the garden, and soon learnt a lot about plants, trees, and the outdoors in general.

Putting my engineering skills and his knowledge of the outdoors together, I decided that it was time to do a job with more satisfaction to it and one which I felt would better suite me. Mr Marv's was born.

The Name, "Mr Marv's" comes from my nick name, Marv, which was extended to Mr Marv when I took up Motorcycle Racing.

Whilst thinking about a business name, it seemed all to obvious to call a gardening company something like "Short Cuts, or Green fingers" and I wanted something a little more personal, something that was personal to both the customers and myself. Mr Marv's seemed perfect.

Now with an established name and a growing customer base, Mr Marv's will soon be known by many more people in the east midlands.

Mr Marv's is a name that you can trust. Trust to complete the work and complete it with the quality that you would expect.

EXTENDED TEAM

The team at Mr Marv's extends in the family. Dave, Martyn's Father, often works alongside, to help out with larger landscaping projects. With a vast wealth of knowledge of plant life, Paving, Building and maintenance, it creates the perfect working partnership.

Mr Marv's is not and isn't going to be a multi million pound company, with hundreds of employees. At Mr Marv's you can rest assured that you will be looked after by a caring family work team.
